(June 3, 2009)

James Hundt is one of three architects selected to conduct workshops at FORM/REFORM, the national conference on Environment and Art in Catholic Worship. Since 1983, FORM/REFORM is the only U.S. Conference devoted to the full range of issues in architecture, environment and art for Catholic worship. Richly diverse in background, the participants at FORM/REFORM share a common dedication to shaping beautiful spaces that serve the liturgical life of the Catholic community. This year's conference will be held in San Jose, CA from July 16 through 19. Mr. Hundt will be holding three different workshops, including one on parish consolidations. (January 14, 2009)

On Sunday, January 14, Jim Hundt presented drawings and renderings of the planned addition and renovations to the existing church to parishioners of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Cortlandt Manor, NY. Originally built in 1976, the original church will be expanded and completely renovated to provide an entirely new look for this growing, community-focused parish. The new design combines contemporary materials with traditional design elements on the exterior and an improved worship environment inside. Construction is scheduled to start this fall.
